This is pay before taxes and deductions. Federal law (FLSA) pays 1.5 times your rate after 40 hours in a workweek. California also counts by the day: 1.5 times after 8 hours, double after 12, and its own rule for the seventh day in a row. The card treats Monday to Sunday as the workweek.
